INFORMATON ABOUT TIMBERSTYLE VENETIANS
- Timberstyle venetians are made from polystyrene and have been tested to 71 degress Celsius
- The material has good insulating properties and as such minor changes in shape can occur
- Timberstyle Blinds are a cheaper alternative to wood
- Their unique structure will be absorb moisture so they can be placed in areas where wooden blinds are unsuitable, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
- They resit cracking, peeling, fading and warping.
- Maximum bowing that may occur is 5mm over 150mm, while maximum camber is 2mm over 1500mm
- Slat width - 50mm
- Brass hold down clips can be supplied upon request.
FASCIAS
- Fascia height is 57mm
- Scroll fascia is included in the price of the blind
- Rear fascia can be supplied using 50mm slat
- Fascias for face fix blinds will be supplied with 67mm returns and will be approx 25mm wider than the blind size.
- Fascias for reveal fix blinds will be supplied without returns (unless specified) and will be finished blind size plus 7mm
- Maximum length of fascia without joins is 2700mm.
RECOMMENDED MAXIMUM BLIND SIZE
- Width - 2700mm
- Drop - 2400mm
- Area - 4.2 square metres.
- Timberstyle Venetians that exceed 6 square metres in area will not be made.
- Minimum width for a Timberstyle Venetian is 250mm.
- Tilt and Pull controls will need to be separated at widths of 485mm and below.
